The idea behind BanzaiAttack.com is to expand my horizon when it comes to metal music. The goal is to post a new metal video every day for a year. At that time I will re-evaluate the site idea and continue on if it is going well. There will most likely be many design changes throughout the upcoming months, as I will be playing with various themes and different web design ideas I have floating around in my head.

After 125 days of posting, I think I finally have the idea of the site down. Basically a new video/song will be posted each day with a link to the bands website. This link is, unfortunately, usually a myspace page and I hate that it is, but what can I do if a band isn’t willing to spend some cash and get a professional site built for them… This very simple format allows me to listen to a bunch of new music each day and not really have to worry about writing up a little something. It’s tough during the summer months to find the time to write a couple paragraphs about the music and the band. I’m guessing that anyone that visits the site is just looking for music and not my opinion, so it works out this way.
